Sr. Leasing Specialist
Management Services Corporation (MSC) one of the largest property firms based in Central Virginia is currently seeking a Sr. Leasing Specialist for it's MAD House property.

This diverse role combines sales, customer service and marketing to lease apartment homes to interested prospects. You will lease apartments in our communities, in Charlottesville VA,through product demonstration and strategic marketing. Making residents feel at home is another aspect of your position, with responsibilities that include maintaining high levels of resident satisfaction and retention.

Greet and assist residents, prospective residents and visitors promptly and courteously.
Answer all telephones promptly and provide courteous assistance to callers; schedule appointments for prospects.
Lease apartments and sell property’s products and services to prospects
Process applications thoroughly and promptly according to rental criteria, run credit reports for applicants, verify employment and housing references.
Maintain considerate and timely contact with prospects and applicants.
Accept application fees, reservation deposits, move-in rent assuring all rental and record keeping procedures are followed according to MSC policy.
Respond to internet leads, answer prospect calls and conduct property tours following the guidelines outlined by MSC
Utilize established sales strategies to increase property traffic and maintain closing ratios.
Maintain thorough product knowledge of the property and that of major competition.
Assist planning, scheduling and hosting resident functions.
Prior sales experience in leasing, retail, banking, or another related field(s)
Team oriented with ability to work independently
Superior leasing sales skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to read, analyze and interpret all forms of information
Well organized with ability to prioritize and multi-task Intermediate computer knowledge
Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Expanded knowledge Excel a definite plus.
Ability to learn and operate company software programs
Ability to fluently read and write English, accurately perform basic to intermediate mathematical functions

No travel is expected for this position. Occasional need to utilize personal transportation to make (reimbursed) trips to other offices.
Required Education and Experience
High school education or equivalent is required
3 years of sales experience.
Virginia Real Estate License, which can be obtained during employment.
Willingness and ability to obtain a Virginia Fair Housing Laws and Practices certificate.
Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance is required; position requires own vehicle to fulfill all of job’s functions.
Preferred Education and Experience
Leasing experience a definite plus.
